Today is Monday, April 16th and I still have my
puppy thanks to a fluke that didn’t let Ms. Linda work out. sad face I
was really hoping that it would. But he proved to be too much for her to
handle. We were going to take him to a shelter today, but it is snowing. And
Todd’s mom won’t let him take Apollo into Ironwood because she is worried about
the road conditions. Oh well, tomorrow for sure he will be gone. Again, don’t
get me wrong. I love him but it is for the best. I may regret letting him go
but I am so nervous that he is going to do something bad that I am having very
little fun. He needs a one person, one dog home where he can run and play and
get all the attention he needs without having to share. And he cannot get that
here with us.
I had a dream about CATS last night. It was cool. I wish it
were real; I miss catting around.
Like you saw earlier, it is snowing here in the Upper
Peninsula of Michigan and of course that makes me L I’m not a big fan of
snow. At least not when it is blowing so hard it forms a wall of white. I can
barely see the lake from my window. It’s 35 degrees Fahrenheit outside. That’s
cold for those of you in Europe and places that use Celsius. I miss Alabama and
the warmth that we normally have this time of year. But it seems, according to
the news, they are dealing with tornadoes and bad weather today. I’ll keep them
on my mind and in my thoughts and prayers.
Well as of this afternoon Apollo is gone. We took him to the
HOPE shelter in Ironwood. He is in a good place now, I know it.
